Recent restrictions on movement arising from the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in businesses seeking ways to adapt to the changing conditions, significantly changing how they interact both internally and with external suppliers and customers.

Virtual meetings via online platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex have become the “norm” for many global businesses even where restrictions have now eased. We have all found that online meetings are far more

  • cost-effective
  • efficient and most of all
  • accessible

as attendees no longer have to spend huge amounts of time and costs in travelling.

Training delivery is no different. Having spent time reviewing and discussing with clients how best to offer our programmes, we have decided to continue delivering our popular letter of credit and Incoterms courses “virtually”.

Our training remains fully interactive and tailored to the requirements of our clients, using examples and scenarios based on your own letters of credit and international sales or purchase contracts.

A success story

Our most recent project was delivery throughout May 2022 of a series of practical half-day training sessions on the ICC Incoterms® 2020 rules to more than 130 delegates from a large multinational organisation. The attendees were from a wide range of locations in Europe, USA and Asia and feedback has been extremely positive:

“I thought the training was just great, and kudos to Mark. It was informative, it was structured. It was also funny and the real life examples were just great. Best training I had this year!” (Germany)

“I have to say, I have worked in purchasing for nearly 20 years and never had training that understandable or thorough for Incoterms ever! It was great training – very helpful with what each Incoterm means and when to use them.” (USA)

We have a busy couple of months ahead with a series of letter of credit courses scheduled throughout June and July 2022. We have limited availability in July and August and are now taking bookings for the remainder of 2022.
