There has been an overwhelmingly positive response to a new session recently introduced into our popular Letters of Credit training programme.
When we created our new documents preparation tool, I knew it would be well received due to its simplicity and ease of use. I wasn’t prepared for the fact that the 20 minute demonstration during our Essential Guide to Letters of Credit workshop would effectively become a ‘showstopper’!
We have always offered best practice tips for preparing complying documents, but as we have found, delegates attending our training have become far more alert when seeing practical examples brought to life.
It is not unusual to receive feedback such as: “I never realised L/Cs could be so simple” or (as told during a course yesterday) “We usually turn away business if letters of credit are offered as a means of payment as we find them too time consuming. I see by using this tool, we ought to reassess this and consider developing business in more challenging markets….”
Letters of credit do not have to be difficult and time consuming.
